PRINCESS TAM TAM (1935) B/W 77m dir: Edmond Greville

w/Josephine Baker, Albert Prejean, Robert Amoux, Germaine Aussey, Georges Peclet, Viviane Romance, Jean Galland

Charming musical, with extravagant production values, about an exotic maiden (Baker) posing as an Indian princess who takes Paris by storm. The story, a sort of reworking of Pygmalion, was written by Baker's husband at the time, Pepito Abatino. The film provides a rare chance to see the bewitching Baker in action.
